Testimonial
"I regularly commission Bob for his creative photography, his experience in handling any situation and his ability to communicate with everyone, from the factory floor to the boardroom. We have worked together for more than 20 years on many and varied projects. I always have confidence in Bob following a brief, taking art direction, or being trusted to work directly with our clients when the situation arises, knowing that he will not only get the shots required, but keep everyone happy too."

Biography
I'm a commercial photographer with more than 25 years of experience and I have a passion for shooting creative imagery for design, advertising, corporate and private clients. I am based in London although I work throughout the UK and globally, both on location and in the studio. I am equally at ease photographing in the boardroom, on a production line, in a care home or on a construction site. I am known for my engaging, energising and approachable manner that puts people at ease whether they are the subject of a portrait or an art director needing to get that little bit more from a shoot.
My career began as a darkroom printer in the age of film, paper and chemicals. I then moved on to assisting many of the photographers I was once printing for. Working alongside leading photographers in specialisms such as portraiture, fashion and beauty, architecture, still life, industrial, landscape and automotive photography which gave me a deeper understanding of the art, craft and demands of creating great commercial images. I have long since been working with pixels rather than film, however my instinct for creating images with depth, tone, texture and balance originates from those years spent hand crafting prints in the darkroom.
At the age of 21 I spent a year traveling through Spain photographing the working people I met along the way, artists, farmers, fishermen, the marginalised gitano community and the drama of the rural landscape. That body of work led to editorial commissions from magazines such as Harpers & Queen, Campaign and Management Today and in turn to many of the clients I continue to work with.
